At Century A/C Supply we believe in giving back and serving our neighbors and surrounding communities. Throughout the year, and through a variety of ways we strive to be involved and give back.
May 2020 - Century A/C welcomes our Summer Intern Students who are participating in our Supply Chain Management/Industrial Distribution Internship Program.
This was orientation day for them. These students will gain valuable knowledge working first hand in several areas of our company, including Inventory Management, Transportation, and more.
They will be working in our Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin stores during their internship with us - their future in Industrial Distribution begins here!
Dallas Employees Volunteer to Clean Up Trinity River Corridor
7/28/2019 - Our Dallas area employees enjoyed a day of giving back helping the Trinity Park Conservancy clean up the park and help make seedballs that will be dispersed along the Trinity River Corridor.

Houston Employees Volunteer at Hermann Park's Japanese Gardens
7/28/2019 - Several Houston area employees and summer interns gathered to give back by volunteering at the Hermann Park Japanese Gardens. They helped restore the gardens, plant some trees, and dig their hands in some dirt!

Century attends HISD’s Career Fair for Young Adults
March 2019 - Century A/C recently attended HISD's “When I Grow Up” career expo in Houston. This event gives students the opportunity to talk with local employers about future careers and expose
them to a wide variety of careers in our region that they may not typically know about. Century A/C Tech support and H/R was on hand to answer students questions about the HVAC industry and provide
the opportunity for hands-on interaction with the HVAC equipment.
Beautifying the Japanese Garden at Hermann Park
March 2019 – Several employees from Century A/C recently volunteered their time at Hermann Park by beautifying the gardens. The Hermann Park Conservancy is planting a new
Japanese tree in one of Houston's most popular photography spots and Century was pleased to help them break the ground to get it started!
Century A/C Supply and York Donate Equipment to Collin College’s HVAC Lab
Dallas, TX, April 12, 2018 - Century A/C Supply recently donated several pieces of York HVAC equipment to Collin
College’s HVAC lab and delivered the equipment for installation. The equipment, which is enough to stock four HVAC labs, will be housed at the Princeton ISD
HVAC lab and includes outdoor condensing units, 18 SEER heat pumps, modulating gas furnaces and the controls to operate them.
“It is about community,” said
Todd Shadden, Vice President at Century A/C Supply. “Our technician pool has gotten really lean. Now, colleges are pushing people back to the trades. You
can go to college for a year and a half and get a job making $50,000 - $60,000 annually. We are really trying to help bring good people into our industry.”
Collin College, which is located in the DFW area has approximately 30 dual credit students and 18 night
students taking HVAC classes at Princeton ISD. This donation will make the Princeton ISD lab competitive to any lab or training facility in the area with
hands-on training equipment for the students to train on.
